How is the cash prize distributed if the guarantee of a specific tournament is exceeded?

If total Buy-Ins for a Tournament exceeds the guaranteed prize pool amount, the rest of the prize pool is distributed to the next top-seeded players by doubling the Buy-In of the Tournament for use as additional paid places.

For example, in our Satellite to Sunday Red $300 tournament with a buy-in of $30, let us say 25 players registered for the tournament. This would mean that the total prize pool is $750 (25 entrants multiplied by a buy-in of $30). Since this specific tournament guarantees one Sunday Red ticket per every $300 in the prize pool, that would mean two tickets would be distributed to the top two players. Two tickets will add up to $600. Therefore, there would be some prize pool money leftover, or $150 to be exact ($750 minus $600).

The $150 leftover from the prize pool would then be distributed in multiples of $60, as mentioned above, by doubling the $30 buy-in of the tournament. This would mean the next two players would each receive $60. The remaining $30 would be given to the fifth player.
