Poker Client - No Turn, No Show - FAQ & Summary

GGPoker is trialing a new feature we call 'No Turn, No Show' to make games safer and to bring an element of live poker into the online world.

How does it work?

After hole cards are dealt, they will not be revealed to the player until it is their turn to act.

Why has this been introduced?

The main reason is to make collusion harder in online games. Giving players less 'dead time' with their cards exposed makes collusion more difficult and less effective. In our tests, it did not delay the game, with players still taking the same amount of time to make preflop decisions.

Can this be deactivated?

No, it is not an option that is configurable.

Is this going to be applied to all tables?

Currently, the feature is being trialled in one game type, with a view to wider implementation. We would be happy to get your feedback on this innovation. If you wish to give us feedback on this or any of our features, you can do so in our Global Reddit community at https://www.reddit.com/r/ggpoker

Will I have to do anything to show my cards?

No, your cards will be revealed automatically when it is your turn to act.
