I got an email saying you may charge me £5 a month to keep my account open, why is this?

Please note that if your account has not been accessed or used for a continuous period of 400 days or more, and we are unable to repay your account balance, at that point your account will be subject to payment of an account maintenance fee of £5 per month, it costs us to maintain dormant accounts.  if your account balance is zero you will not be charged.

We will send an email to the last known email addresses we have for you no less than 30 days before we intend to charge this administration fee.

You can avoid this by simply logging in to your account periodically.
